Nike is getting ready for Spring 2020 with an all-Volt edition of the Air Max 97 as part of their women’s lineup.

This offering of the Nike Air Max 97 is fully decked out in vibrant Volt that features a mix of mesh and leather. Finishing touches includes matching tonal, Air Max sole unit, and rubber outsole.

Coming soon is the wider release of Sean Wotherspoon’s Nike Air Max 1/97 which will launch around Air Max Day 2018. Amongst his pair, there will be a ton of Air Max offerings for the Nike Air Pegasus 83 Womensmonth of March.

Recently he posted an image on Instagram showcasing some of the more popular upcoming Nike Air Max releases. Some of the highlights includes the COMME des Garcons x Nike Air Max 180 collaborations, both OFF-White x Nike Air VaporMax releases, a couple of Air Max 270 colorways, the ‘Animal Pack 2.0’ and of course his collaboration, the Air Max 1/97.

Apparently, these Nike Air Max 9Adidas ZX 750 Femme 7s are decked out with 60 ccs of holy water sourced straight from the River Jordan and injected into the soles (so you can literally walk on water like Him), a crucifix, Nike Air Max 270 Dames red insoles to call back to Vatican traditions, and a Matthew 14:25 inscription. They’re also scented with frankincense, which, according to the Book of Matthew, was one of the gifts the wise men brought to Jesus on the night of his birth. They truly thought of everything here.

If you feel like you’re being trolled right about now, that’s exactly the point. After the shoes dropped yesterday, the brand’s head of commerce, Daniel Greenberg, told the New York Post that they came up with the idea as a way to drag “collab culture,” which gave us that Post Office x Forever 21 clothing line and the Arizona Iced Tea and Adidas line. The brand asked itself, “What would a Adidas Stan Smith Womens collab with Jesus Christ look like?” and came up with this white-and-sky-blue pair.

The shoes were originally $1,425 but are all sold out now and going for up to eight times Nike Internationalist Donna the price for those who slept on them when they first went on sale. (There are select sizes available for $2K or $3K though.) In the words of Hailey Baldwin, Lord have mercy!
