Thomas was found to be in possession of 143 grams of marijuana, and in the state of Minnesota possession of any quantity more than 42.5 grams is considered a felony.According to Nick Ferraro of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, Thomas received a stay of adjudication, which is mandatory for first-time, low-level drug offenders in the state of Minnesota. That means that, if Thomas meets all of the terms of his probation, the charge will never appear on his record.Thomas’ probationary period will be three years, and the conditions of his probation include a chemical dependency evaluation and possible treatment; no alcohol or drug use; and random testing, in addition to the testing he already goes through as a National Football League player. What happened today is separate from any sort of discipline Thomas might face from the league. If the NFL handles this the way they usually do, we won’t hear anything about what sort of punishment Thomas might face until around the start of Training Camp, or perhaps even after we get into the preseason. Just a little while ago, the National Football League announced the rosters for the 2019 Pro Bowl, which will take place in January in Orlando, Florida. Four members of the Minnesota Vikings were named to the squad. . .three of whom you were probably expecting, and one that’s probably going to come as a surprise.Defensive end Danielle Hunter, wide receiver Adam Thielen, and safety Harrison Smith were named to the team. This is the fourth consecutive Pro Bowl for Smith, who is widely regarded as one of the best safeties in the league, and the second in a row for Thielen, who has been near the top of most major receiving categories all season. It’s the first Pro Bowl for Hunter http://www.thevikingslockerroom.com/authentic-fran-tarkenton-jersey , who has been on a tear all season long and is second in the NFL in sacks with 14.5. Those three men aren’t any sort of a surprise. The surprise is provided by linebacker Anthony Barr. (At least, it was a surprise to me, anyway.) This is Barr’s fourth consecutive Pro Bowl, and it comes in a season where he’s certainly had his ups and downs. He’s missed a couple of games with injuries, and had a couple of games early on where he didn’t look particularly great. Still, the people that make the rosters saw enough in him to name him to the team again.Below are the full rosters for both the AFC and the NFC.
