However, Forsberg moved with the Nordiques to Colorado where he spent the next nine seasons. Following the 2004-05 lockout, Forsberg spent time with the Flyers and Predators before returning to Colorado, but he only played 11 more games with the Avalanche before retiring due to injuries. He was traded back to the Rangers in 2003.
