Zach Davies got the start for Milwaukee. Davies cruised through the first 3 innings before giving up a solo shot to Brandon Belt to lead off the bottom of the fourth inning. The Giants kept the pressure on in the fourth as Davies walked Brandon Crawford and gave up a single to Pablo Sandoval. Alen Hanson and Bumgarner knocked Crawford and then Sandoval in with singles of their own. Hanson scored the fourth run of the inning on a fielder’s choice.
