ALLEN PARK, Mich. -- The Detroit Lions hired Joe Lombardi as offensive co-ordinator, the team announced Tuesday. Lombardi, grandson of Hall of Fame coach Vince Lombardi, has been an offensive assistant for New Orleans since 2007.
