Maruti Suzuki India launched the revamped Swift Dzire in the domestic market in the beginning of the year after Auto Expo. The trimmed boot sedan was priced competitively at Rs 5.80 lakh and the price goes up to Rs 7.09 lakh for the diesel avatar. During the launch of the upgraded Maruti Swift Dzire the company did mention that the prices were the introductory prices and were subject to change.


Maruti was overwhelmed with the kind of response the company got for the second generation of Maruti Swift Dzire sedan.
